Don't Blink, Life Goes Faster Than You Think.

I received this as an email & just had to share. I don't mind if you write your name in the dust at my house; just don't date it! LADIES!!! Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it. 'A house becomes a home when you can write 'I love you' on the furniture.' I used to spend at least 8 hours every weekend making sure things were just perfect - 'in case someone came over. Finally I realized one day that no-one came over; they were all out living life and having fun! NOW, when people visit, I don't have to explain the 'condition' of my home. They are more interested in hearing about the things I've been doing while I was away living life and having fun. If you haven't figured this out yet, please heed this advice. Life is short. Schools out , or in our case just about out. That only means one thing in our family, beach trip. In the past have gone to Ocean City but the excitement wore off & the crowd tends to be high school & college students. Too wild for a family trip so we now head to Myrtle Beach. We love it. I recommend to friends to stay at the Breakers ( http://www.breakers.com/ ). They have several pools & a lazy river & pool side service (the ones that all adults love). This year we are heading to Disney for our vacation but hope to get a great deal at some point to return to Myrtle for a long weekend. The preparation for any beach trip can be crazy. The never ending laundry.

When I was single it seemed like I was more organized, I probably was. I didn't have to keep track of numerous events other than what weenkend & holidays I had to work. Then along came the beautiful children & they sucked just about every brain cell I had left. Not to mention the diagnosis of Hypothyroidism. But that's a story for another day & time. Where is the Toy Taker? I told my kids when they were younger that if they didn't pick up their toys that the Toy Taker would come when they were sleeping & take their toys. Where is he when I need him? Recently my daughter's room has got out of control with the toys laying around. Yesterday I took on the challenge to clean her room. Before I started I asked God for his help. "Dear Lord, Bless This Mess. " Then I started. Where do I put these toys? On the bed for now. Then I thought, " What did I get myself into?" "Someone has to do it." So then I continued with trash bags ready for any broken toy. It filled semi quickly. I just hate cleaning the rooms of my kids.
