Happy Birthday Son

Today, my son turns 11. Where does the time go? This is a picture I will cherish forever. He has never expressed disbelief about Santa. I think he may be humoring me knowing, it would break my heart.

Happy Birthday son & God bless you!
Love,
Mom & Dad

We Are The World

As you may know, back in the 80's many celebrities band together to create the video We Are The World to aid in African famine relief. The video was extremely successful & left an impression in the hearts of many.

Last week a remake of the legendary video was made to benefit the people of Haiti. I love the concept of the celebrities coming together & remaking the video but I have mixed feeling about the remake.

What are your thoughts? Watch each video & vote for the video you like better.

Shaun White Rocks

The snowboarding event at the Olympics last night were amazing. I held my breath when Shaun White took to the half pipe, praying that he wouldn't wipe out. Not that he would, but there is always that possibility that he could. Anyhow, he makes skateboarding look so easy. Congratulations to Shaun White on winning the gold.

Shaun, you ROCK!

There Is A God

Just like, "Yes Virginia there is a Santa Claus." there is a God. School resumed yesterday for a full day & no 2 hour delay today. The kids where bummed, no delay. But I am ready to celebrate. I thought about dancing around the house naked. But I won't subject you to the thought of my pasty, stretch marked, out of shape body.

Why Can't I Go Out?

Because you will get lost in the snow!

I Don't Think So

Living on a dead end street SUCKS! We are always the last for everything. Since we are currently snowed in, I had to tell the hospital that we will not be having mom's surgery tomorrow. Not only are we snowed in, but they wanted us to be there at 5 am. Yeah right! Not with these cold teperatures & the risk of the roads being a complete sheet of ice. I don't think so.
