How We Met

Image
Have I ever told you how I met my husband? We met through the single ads in the newspaper. Guess what! I didn't place the ad. Turns out my mother placed it without my knowledge. We met for lunch on Saturday afternoon, dated for over two years, got engaged in Waikiki & it's been a wild ride ever since.

Happy Birthday Son

Today, my son turns 11. Where does the time go? This is a picture I will cherish forever. He has never expressed disbelief about Santa. I think he may be humoring me knowing, it would break my heart. Happy Birthday son & God bless you! Love, Mom & Dad

Shaun White Rocks

Image
The snowboarding event at the Olympics last night were amazing. I held my breath when Shaun White took to the half pipe, praying that he wouldn't wipe out. Not that he would, but there is always that possibility that he could. Anyhow, he makes skateboarding look so easy. Congratulations to Shaun White on winning the gold. Shaun, you ROCK!

I Don't Think So

Image
Living on a dead end street SUCKS! We are always the last for everything. Since we are currently snowed in, I had to tell the hospital that we will not be having mom's surgery tomorrow. Not only are we snowed in, but they wanted us to be there at 5 am. Yeah right! Not with these cold teperatures & the risk of the roads being a complete sheet of ice. I don't think so.

Happy Birthday

Blessings From Above

Image
This weekend marks a landmark in my life as a parent. My daughter, my baby, made her First Holy Communion. I now feel that we are complete as a family when we go to church. She now can accept the body & blood of Christ with us. God Bless you my precious baby & may he keep you safe.

Prom Dresses Part 1

Image
It is that time of the year. Prom season will be in full swing. I have been checking out the latest fashions in prom dresses. Hear are just a few that caught my eye. Nothing like the one I wore to my prom.

Happy Birthday Pittsburgh
