100 Random Things About Me

This is my 100 th post & I am posting 100 random things about me. I was born in a suburb outside of Pittsburgh, PA. I am Catholic. I was once Democrat converted to Republican. Currently working as a School Nurse. Happily married. Met my husband through the personal ads that was placed by my own mother. Favorite color is pink. Favorite season of the year is Fall. I have a large dimple on my left cheek. Had open heart surgery at the ripe age of 16. Graduated from Carlow University with a BS in Nursing. Love coffee, hazelnut is the best. I like to cook new things. Love to bake. I hate to clean up the kitchen after cooking & baking. Hate unloading the dishwasher, only to reload it with more dirty dishes. Going to Disney with the kids this summer. Love going to the beach. Myrtle is my favorite.Currently driving a Chevy Blazer. (Hopefully soon that will change. Right honey.) ; ) Love watching both my son & daughter play soccer. Favorite food would be anything Italian. Also love

Buying in Bulk

I love to venture to Costco to do my shopping. Stock up on meat, pasta, cleaning products, vitamins, you name it. This past Sunday I took a trip there. I weaved in & out the professional taste testers, picking up my usual products. After loading up the cart to the brim, I pushed my way to the check out. In front of me was a man in his late 50's with a dangling cross earring in one ear. He didn't have that many items to purchase, so I started to place my purchases on the conveyor belt. That's when I glanced down & noticed the purchase of the man in front of me. Yes, he purchased a box of condoms. As you know, Costco only sells in large volumes. It was one of those humorous moments when you try so hard to hold back the laugh. How much sex can this guy possibly be having?

Mom & Sabbaticals

Are you screaming at your kids at the top of your lungs " Stop fighting." Are you tired of Science Projects & homework. Are you worried about how your child is going to perform on their assessments tests. Are you feuding with your mother-in-law. Are you tired of doing cooking ? Do you wish that your Fairy Godmother will come & clean your house? If you answered yes to any of these questions then you need a sabbatical. Take the poll & let me know what you think.

Disney Plans are Coming Together

Our plans for Disney are firming up. Yet, I still have many questions. I have heard pros & cons about the meal plan. I want your input. Thank you in advance.

To Compete or Not to Compete

My daughter started gymnastics about a month ago. I went in completely blind. We started at the basic level. Her teacher informed me yesterday that she feels that she is ready to move up. I smiled. She told me to move her up to Pre-Team. This is happening so fast. Pre-Team is competitive. I'm not sure if I am ready to have her do this. I would love any input.

Slide Into Dinner

Quick easy meal that the kids like. We had sliders for dinner. Also known as baby burgers as my daughter once called them. The kids seem to like any thing labeled mini or baby.

Our school is celebrating: Monday: Book Swap Tuesday: Drop everything & read Wednesday: Wacky Wednesday Thursday: Silly Sock Day Friday: Dr. Seuss Hat Day. What is your favorite Seuss Book? I would love to hear from you.
