From CCD to Soccer

Up at 7am. Hop into the shower. Made coffee. Can't start the mornings without it. Check email.

Wake son up at 8 am. Put a flame under his butt to get ready for Stations of the Cross practice at 9 am. Drop him off.

Come home. Get the Diva ready for CCD & soccer. Take Diva to CCD all dressed for soccer.

Come home & pack every ones soccer equipment. Tired already. 10:50 am off to see CCD Stations of the Cross. Pull Diva from her CCD class so dad can take her for pictures.

Watch son's performance. Pick up son after Stations & help him get dressed in the car for soccer. Walk down to field. Son's turn for pictures.

Watch some of daughter's soccer game. Run to other side of field to watch son play. Run back to other side of field to catch daughter's game.

Daughter's game over. Back to other side of field to watch the rest of son's game.

Finally! Games over. Each child scored 2 goals. Daughter's team lost by 1. Son's team undefeated.

Whew!! Time for a cold beverage.

Living on a dead end street SUCKS! We are always the last for everything. Since we are currently snowed in, I had to tell the hospital that we will not be having mom's surgery tomorrow. Not only are we snowed in, but they wanted us to be there at 5 am. Yeah right! Not with these cold teperatures & the risk of the roads being a complete sheet of ice. I don't think so.

Disney Update

I need your help. My friends on facebook have left my some ideas, but I want to hear from you. I did hear that there are great deals like stay 4 nights get 3 nights free. 1. What is the best time of the year to go? We were thinking early June. Maybe the second week. 2. Where to stay? We were thinking in the park. 3. Do we buy the meal plans? Some suggestions: Take your beautiful little girl to Bibbidi-Bobbidi-Boutique and make her a princess for an hour! Buy the meal plan if you're staying in a Disney resort- it's really, really, really cost-effective. And whatever you do, avoid 'It's a Small World'- it will turn you into a homicidal maniac. Try to find some books- knows the titles of some. They really helped me when we went. There's also some websites--she knows the addresses too! Good luck! It's a fun place & worth the time & effort.

Homemade Pizza Sauce

For years I have tried different ways to make homemade pizza sauce. I think I finally found what I was looking for. Homemade Pizza Sauce Ingredients: Three cans of tomato paste (6 oz can) One can of tomato sauce (15 oz can) Half cup of chopped onion Three cloves of garlic (chopped) 2 teaspoons of olive oil 2 teaspoons of granulated sugar Dry oregano- a few generous shakes (alternative to use is pizza seasoning). In a sauce pan add 3 cans of tomato paste & tomato sauce, cook on low heat. Add onions, garlic, olive oil, sugar & oregano. Continue to cook for about 30-60 minutes, stirring occasionally. ENJOY!
