Memories

Over the weekend I found some pictures that are priceless. It seems like yesterday that my husband & I brought them home from the hospital. Now my son is going to 4th grade & my daughter is going to 2nd grade. Life doesn't stand still for anyone. As my blog goes, Don't blink, life goes faster than you think.

I KNOW - it's really terrible. I don't think it's fair at all ... they just grow and grow and grow.

And not only are their bodies growing but their minds are too ...my girls act like they are teenagers! UGH!

Living on a dead end street SUCKS! We are always the last for everything. Since we are currently snowed in, I had to tell the hospital that we will not be having mom's surgery tomorrow. Not only are we snowed in, but they wanted us to be there at 5 am. Yeah right! Not with these cold teperatures & the risk of the roads being a complete sheet of ice. I don't think so.

Count Down to Vacation

The mood in my house this week is excitement. We all are preparing for our departure to Myrtle Beach. Call us crazy for driving. The 12 hour trip shouldn't be so bad, we are breaking it up over 2 days. Today we took a trip to the post office to stop the mail & then headed out to Walmart. Last minute things to pick up, like flip-flops for my son. He is into Ironman this year & found a pair of flip-flops with Ironman on them. "Mom, can I get them?" he asked. Of course he could get them. He couldn't find a pair in his size. Why? They don't make mens shoes with Marvel super heros. This is when reality set in. My baby is growning up toooooo fast.
